Overview
ChatGLM, branded in Chinese as ChatGLM, is Zhipu’s user-facing AI assistant. Its official product page presents chat, image generation, AI reading, video creation, research, data analysis, document knowledge bases, and agent exploration, with the service available through web and other clients. Zhipu also maintains open model projects such as GLM on GitHub, but the hosted ChatGLM assistant is not the same software and is not open source under this directory’s rule. Developers can use Zhipu’s separate model platform and APIs for text, image, audio, video, search, and knowledge-base features.
