Overview
Mistral Vibe is Mistral AI’s unified assistant for conversation, work tasks, and coding. Formerly Le Chat, it offers separate work, code, and chat modes, with integrations for sources such as GitHub, GitLab, Jira, and Linear described on the product page. The code mode is available through a command-line tool, a VS Code extension, and a web interface. The official Vibe repository contains the product’s CLI coding-agent source under the Apache-2.0 license, making that open-source component usable for local development today.
