Overview
Warp is an agentic development environment centered on a terminal. Its current product set includes Warp Terminal, an agent CLI, and Warp Factories for running software-development workflows with agents, models, integrations, evaluations, and automation. The terminal supports natural-language requests, shared workspaces, command editing, and agent sessions that users can watch and steer. Warp’s official client repository is open source under AGPL-3.0, with some dependencies under other licenses. The project can be built and self-hosted from source, while the hosted product and factory services remain part of Warp’s commercial platform.
