GitLens

Overview

GitLens brings repository history and working changes into VS Code through blame annotations, CodeLens, file and line history, commit graphs, comparisons, worktrees, pull-request views, and integrations with Git hosts. It also tracks supported coding agent sessions inside the editor. GitLens Community is open source, with the non-Plus files in the repository under MIT. The repository also contains a Plus directory governed by a separate non-OSS license, so the GitHub API reports NOASSERTION. AI features include commit messages, change explanations, reviews, and agent workflows.
