Overview
Replit Agent is Replit's current AI product for building applications and websites through chat. A user describes an idea, and the agent works through the project in Replit's browser-based development environment, where the editor, runtime, files, and deployment tools are available together. Projects can be started from a browser without installing a local development stack. It follows Replit's earlier Ghostwriter coding features, which included autocomplete, code generation, transformation, explanation, and in-editor search. Replit Agent is a hosted proprietary product, not an open-source application repository.
