Overview
Postman supports API design, request execution, collections, scripted tests, documentation, mock servers, monitors, and team workspaces. Its CLI can run collections and checks in local or CI workflows, while Newman and the Collection SDK are maintained as public companion projects. Postman also offers Agent Mode and Postbot. These AI features can operate on API workflows, help write tests and documentation, debug requests, and answer questions about Postman usage. The main Postman application and hosted platform are proprietary. It is used by individual developers and API teams.
