Overview
Comet is Perplexity's AI-focused browser for Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android. Its assistant can understand the current page, compare coverage, research questions, draft email replies, create study plans, and interact with websites for tasks such as shopping. The input product was the Sidekick productivity browser. Its former domain now redirects to Comet after the Sidekick team joined Perplexity, and Sidekick is no longer offered as a standalone product. Comet is proprietary and no official product source repository was found. The record uses Comet as the current product name and marks the entry as moved.
