Overview
Codacy runs automated code quality and security checks across repositories, covering static analysis, code coverage, software composition analysis, SAST, and policy controls. Teams can use dashboards and pull-request feedback to track issues across projects and connect checks with CI workflows. Results can be grouped by repository, language, team, or rule. The current platform also lists AI Inventory, AI Guardrails, AI Risk Hub, and an AI Reviewer. Codacy publishes a command-line analysis tool, documentation, and an MCP server, but the hosted platform itself is not open-source.
