Capacities is a closed note-taking and knowledge-management app that organizes information as connected objects rather than files and folders. Each object can have a type, properties, links, and backlinks; examples include people, books, meetings, and projects. Daily notes connect new objects to the day they were created, while media such as PDFs, images, audio, and saved links can become objects in the same space. The Pro AI assistant can chat with notes, summarize or translate selected content, fill properties, auto-tag objects, build queries, and search online when enabled. Capacities also offers calendar integrations, tasks, a REST API, a TypeScript SDK, and a remote MCP server.
