Overview
Wan is Alibaba's generative media platform for image and video creation. Alibaba's official pages describe text-to-image APIs and web experiences, image references, editing, video generation, and model access through the Model Studio platform. The current independent site is /wan, while older materials use the name 通义万相. The official Wan-Video/Wan2.2 repository contains Alibaba's open Wan model code under Apache-2.0 and links to the Wan product site. That repository represents an open model release, not every hosted component of the Wan service. The platform is used through Alibaba's web and cloud APIs.
