Overview
Ulysses is a closed-source writing app for Apple platforms. It organizes essays, articles, books, and other projects in a library of sheets and groups, while offering markup-based editing, goals, deadlines, a built-in grammar and style check, attachments, and exports to PDF, Word, ebooks, and blog platforms. The product supports Apple’s Writing Tools, including proofreading, rewriting, and summarization when the system feature is available. Ulysses is distributed through a subscription with a free trial on supported devices. Its library keeps projects together across the app.
