Overview
remio is a desktop-centered AI workspace for turning personal and work context into searchable material and finished outputs. It can capture or index web pages, local folders, files, meetings, recordings, emails, Slack conversations, and connected services, then answer questions with citations. Its site also lists document, spreadsheet, and presentation creation, built-in editors, multiple model choices, connectors, and reusable skills. The app supports Windows 10+ x64 and Apple-silicon Macs, with mobile apps for capture that sync to the desktop client. The architecture combines local storage, local parsing or embeddings, and remote or local language models depending on the task. remio is proprietary; the official remio-skills repository provides agent skills as a plugin rather than the product source.
