Basecamp is a hosted project collaboration workspace from 37signals. It brings together projects, to-dos, message boards, comments, card tables, calendars, documents, files, chat, check-ins, and people-related activity so teams can coordinate work in one place. It is aimed at companies and client teams that want a structured project hub. Basecamp provides a hosted MCP server that lets connected AI assistants search workspace information, summarize activity, draft updates, and create or update supported work items within the user's permissions. The official Basecamp CLI also supports terminal and agent workflows. Basecamp is proprietary SaaS, not an open-source application.
