Overview
Power BI is Microsoft’s business intelligence platform for semantic models, reports, dashboards, and data analysis. Its Copilot experiences support report summaries, questions about report content and accessible data, DAX generation, semantic-model descriptions, report-page creation, and report editing. Copilot availability depends on capacity, region, tenant settings, and the particular Power BI experience. Microsoft documents both generally available and preview experiences, and recommends preparing semantic models so Copilot has clearer business context. Some experiences require paid Fabric or Power BI Premium capacity.
