Overview
Hex is a hosted analytics workspace where teams query, transform, visualize, and explore data in projects containing SQL, Python, Markdown, pivot, and chart cells. Projects can use warehouse connections, uploaded files, and semantic models, then be shared as interactive data applications. Hex’s AI features include the Notebook Agent for generating and editing notebook cells, Threads for conversational questions over curated data, Chat with App for published projects, and a Modeling Agent for semantic models. The product is aimed at technical data users and business users with different access roles.
