Overview
HEY is a hosted email and calendar service from 37signals, the company behind Basecamp. It gives users a new hey.com mailbox or custom-domain option, then separates incoming mail into areas such as The Screener, Imbox, Paper Trail, and The Feed. It also includes workflows, reply-later handling, search, sharing, and an integrated calendar. The current site lists AI Agents and a HEY CLI alongside web, desktop, and mobile apps. HEY is a proprietary service rather than an open-source mail client, and it is intended to replace an existing inbox instead of simply connecting to Gmail or Outlook.
