Overview
FLUX is Black Forest Labs’ family of image-generation models and services. The company offers an online web playground and API, while its open-weight releases support text-to-image generation, image editing, structural conditioning, variation, and related workflows. The official flux repository contains inference code and links to the Black Forest Labs site. GitHub lists the repository under Apache-2.0, but individual model releases use different terms: FLUX.1 schnell is Apache-2.0, while several dev and pro variants have separate non-commercial or commercial licensing conditions.
