Overview
Webflow is a hosted visual platform for designing, managing, and publishing websites and web experiences. It combines a visual canvas with responsive layouts, CMS collections, collaboration controls, hosting, localization, optimization, and tools for connecting sites to external services. Webflow AI can generate a site, modify designs, create copy and CMS items, answer in-context questions, and produce reusable React code components. Webflow also documents an MCP server for conversational site management and agent workflows. App Gen development has been paused and is being deprecated while existing apps continue to run. Webflow is closed source; its official GitHub presence is focused on examples and developer resources rather than the platform source.
