Overview
Replicate provides hosted infrastructure for running machine-learning models through an API. Developers can browse available models, submit inputs for predictions, integrate results into applications, and use model-specific interfaces without operating the underlying serving stack themselves. It is aimed at developers who need managed inference capacity. Replicate also publishes Cog, an open-source tool for packaging models into production-ready containers, plus official Python and JavaScript clients. Those repositories support the service but are not the source code of the hosted Replicate platform, which is proprietary.
