Overview
Figma is a hosted collaborative design platform for interface design, FigJam whiteboards, presentations, prototypes, and related product workflows. Teams can edit shared files, use design systems, inspect implementation details, and connect design work with development through integrations and developer-focused features. Figma AI includes a canvas agent for generating and editing designs, Figma Make for prompt-driven prototypes and web apps, code layers for interactive experiments, image and text tools, and an MCP server that lets external agents read or modify design context. Figma is a proprietary service; its official GitHub organization does not expose the product’s own source code.
