Overview
Chimp Rewriter is a downloadable Windows application for rewriting and spinning articles. Its official manual describes manual and automatic rewriting, synonym and phrase selection, sentence and paragraph tools, a multilingual thesaurus, grammar and spelling support, project controls, spintax profiles, and exports for different publishing systems. The software also includes tools for collecting articles, images, and videos, plus a blog submission feature and a separate rewriting API. It is proprietary desktop software with free and paid editions. The former owner’s project page says the product was sold, so ownership and current maintenance are less certain than for the other entries.
